@captwanderlust is new to California and is adapting to the motorcycle culture here very well!!! Just upgraded his brakes front and rear with @freespiritsparts Brembo front calipers with oversized rotors and rear oversized rotor to work with OEM caliper. We also added some blacked out 4 bar tank badges and black flush mount gas cap!!! Bike is looking 🔥🔥🔥!!!

Never judge a book by its cover. This 2006 tank looked great on the outside but don’t let that fool you! My client continued to have carb related issues with their bike and cleaning the carbs every month was just not cutting it anymore. Multiple previous failed attempts(by previous owner) at stripping and lining this tank took a toll on it. 2nd pic is all the liner build up with a very poor attempt to line it, 3rd pic is the damage they did stripping the tank before the poor attempt at lining it, 4th pic is the beautiful new liner applied by @gtl_advantage 😍😍😍 A few spot weld repairs had to be done to seal off leaking areas of the tank where the metal was so thin from improper cleaning/acid eating away at the metal! $1000 later and still needing to paint this tank it is almost fully repaired and ready to outlive this bike! 😂😂😂
